Overwhelmed

“Just move forward.”
It is amazing how fast things can change in a moment. One day you are comfortable with a routine, content with life, and the future plans that you have for yourself and your family. Then a curve ball comes that you were not expecting. Now what…
This state of limbo can attract many negative emotions, it can stir up things that have been laying dormant that you need to take care of but essentially it can provoke action.
Some years ago I got to travel with a team to the Belize area to help serve a local orphanage. It was life changing, for a plethora of reasons, but one story stuck with me and would continue to change my life. It was the story of one of the team leaders who helped serve the orphanage.
In his country he had grew up with drugs to the point where he had to evacuate his country. During his time away he got encountered by God to the point where his entire life changed in a moment. But as he was telling me his story he explained how he wanted to pay the devil back for everything that he had taken from him.
So he decided to serve and rescue orphans. The very thing that the enemy took from him, his childhood, now he would spend his life rescuing others from the same and similar situations as he experienced as a child.
If the enemy tries to kill you, steals anything from you, or destroys your life….make him pay.
