Break It Down

One of the greatest things that I have learned from being a Software Developer is the importance of breaking down a problem. My personality is to see something and usually take it in all at once, get overwhelmed, and procrastinate a little bit then I might eventually began to see steps where I can start on the situation at hand. When we try to take it in all at once, we get overwhelmed.
Start small.
You do not have to rebuild in one day. If your business seems to be completely destroyed, mourn, and then rejoice in that truth that your business is on the inside of you. Rebuild it.
If the home where you raised all of your kids or maybe your first home you just purchased is not livable. Just clear the yard the best you can. Then Rebuild what you can.
If you can't get to your home or business to evaluate the damage, do not stress, strategize. What can you do to help the people of our community? What can you do where you are at with what you have?
What services can you offer to someone else that is hurting? Now more than ever we need each other. Though I am sure every single one of us has a pressing need, lets not close off to our surrounding community by focusing only on ourselves. Mourn your loss, then rejoice that everything you need to move forward is on the inside of you. Rebuild. One day at a time.
