Don’t Settle

“Hopelessness is the breeding ground for fear.”
When we refuse to live in hope, we are refusing to live with the truth that things can get better. It can be easy to settle in a state of hopelessness when we have been disappointed multiple times, hurt by people or certain circumstance, and when we have believe the lie that our lives will not get better. Also there is that catchy saying that is a lie that injects hopelessness inside of us by creating an expectation for the negative outcomes, “things are going to get worse before they get better.”
Hopelessness can be easy to stay in and even easier to get into with negative news constantly flowing around us. When can lead to us living in fear and once we are in fear we are not thinking from our best state of mind.
We are actually thinking and living from a place that we were never intended to live from when we live in fear. Nothing about fear is healthy, right, or should be normal.
We may experience a feeling of fear, we may allow ourselves to get in a mindset of being fearful, or we may even participate in the fear of a group of people because it just seems right and it is easy to do.
Just because it is culturally acceptable, doesn’t mean it is divinely right.
