Don’t Be A Dropout
After this Jesus went to the other side of the Lake of Tiberias, which is also known as Lake Galilee. v2 And a massive crowd of people followed Him everywhere. They were attracted by His miracles and the healings they watched Him perform. v3 Jesus went up the slope of a hill and sat down with His disciples. Now it was approaching the time of the Jewish celebration of Passover, and there were many pilgrims on their way to Jerusalem in the crowd. v5 As Jesus sat down, He looked out and saw the massive crowd of people scrambling up the hill, for they wanted to be near Him. So He turned to Philip and said, “Where will we buy enough food to feed all these people?” v6 Now Jesus already knew what He was about to do, but He said this to stretch Philip’s faith. v7 Philip answered, “Well, I suppose if we were to give everyone only a snack, it would cost thousands of dollars to buy enough food!” v8 But just then, Andrew, Peter’s brother, spoke up and said, v9 “Look! Here’s a young person with five barley loaves and two small fish…but how far would that go with this huge crowd?

Stay Up!:
Notice the situation, Jesus wanted to feed the people but there was not a place to buy food. v5
Jesus was asking ‘where’, Philip was thinking cost v6,7
When God asks you a question it is always to bring you higher. To bring you up in your faith.
Your faith will dictate the reality you live from. Your faith will also determine what reality you let influence you.
“Any thought that is in your mind that is not in the mind of God is a lie.”
-Bill Johnson
The quality of your life depends on whether or not you stay up!
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
-John 10:10 AMPC
Notice v9, what Andrew said didn’t make sense in the natural but he was operating on an entirely new realm, the supernatural, but notice, he dropped out.
“The person who focuses on the natural will ultimately drop out of the supernatural.”
The Anointing is released upon demand, if you never challenge that stuff you will never know. Notice that Andrew spoke up, when faith is present, it must be given action to be released. Whether in voice and/or action.
3 ways to begin operating in Faith:
Faith, then, is birthed in a heart that responds to God’s anointed utterance of the Anointed One.
-Romans 10:17 TPT
1) The Spoken Word comes by reading the written Word. When we read the written word it stretches our capacity to be able to hear the spoken word that comes through the Holy Spirit.
Be obedient no matter what He says!
2) Attending a service, group, event, that stimulates your faith, encourages you in your journey-Church
3) Friends who encourage you in the things of God, to pursue Him no matter what!
If your friends are too cool for Jesus they are too cold for you.
Get some fiery crazy Jesus loving, Holy Spirit listening friends who are going after the world change.
The simplest way to receives friends like that is to become that friend. You will attract them.
And these miracle signs will accompany those who believe: They will drive out demons in the power of my name. They will speak in tongues. They will be supernaturally protected from snakes and from drinking anything poisonous. And they will lay hands on the sick and heal them.
-Mark 16:17-18 TPT
I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows Me in faith, believing in me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with My Father!
-John 14:12 TPT
When you stay up in faith the Presence of God is your normal, your default setting, which causes signs, wonders, and miracles to follow you and live to change around you. You may not ‘feel’ it all of the time but you will have the ability to engage in the Heavenly realm no matter what circumstance you may be facing.
What would it look like in a week if for every day somebody around you encountered God through you? How would you look?
What is your faith doing?
